Description

Gua Sha is a beauty technique that has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years. This massage tool is ideal for firming and beautifying the skin, and its shape has been specially designed to hug the contours of the face. Before using the Gua Sha, it's recommended that you moisturise your skin with a facial oil (such as our Elixir Jaune and Elixir Vert facial oils) so you can massage your face easily and gently, while also helping the product to absorb. Rose quartz is a semi-precious stone that helps to relieve stress and anxiety. It is also called the heart stone, and has soothing and beauty benefits.

Skin type: mature, dull, tired, dry.

How to use

We recommend massaging your face with the Gua Sha tool once or twice a week. It's important that you cleanse and moisturise well before using it. Our Elixir Jaune and Elixir Vert facial oils will give your skin all the hydration it needs and allow for a smooth and gentle massage. Your face may be slightly red after using the Gua Sha. This is perfectly normal, as the massage movements involve pressing lightly. Use our facial massage rollers to complement the Gua Sha. • Cleanse your skin, then apply a facial oil or serum. • Stroke the edge of the Gua Sha across the face, always working outwards. • Press lightly when performing all the movements. 1. Begin by gliding the Gua Sha over the cheeks. 2. Next, go over the forehead, working up from the eyebrows to the hairline. 3. Turn the Gua Sha over to use the other side and glide it over the eye area, pressing to thug gently. 4. Work over the cheekbones, using the double-curved end. 5. Sculpt the jawline, working up to the ears, then pressing below them. 6. Finish with the neck, working upwards f or a lifting effect, or downwards to promote drainage.
